The Montclair Community will observe Earth Day on April 24, 2021. Residents are encouraged to register in advance for this community-wide cleanup from land and water.

Registered participants will receive a brown-bagged muffin at check-in and distribution of our Earth Day face masks will be limited. Stay tuned for a list of volunteer opportunities to lead, teach, participate and learn through efforts such as:

• Trash removal from common areas

• Sanitizing playground equipment

• Removal of debris in and around Lake Montclair

• Planting flowers; and

• Learn how to control invasive plant growth

What to bring:

1) PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PRE-FILLED WATER BOTTLE. WE WILL NOT DISTRIBUTE DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLES AT THIS EVENT.

2) Bringing your own garden tools such as pruner, spade, trowel or weeder is encouraged to limit sharing.

3) Sunscreen, sun hat, hand towel or other items for your comfort

4) Please come prepared with a mask to wear when adequate social distancing is not possible.

Don't forget to stop by and shop Montclair's Earth Day Farmer's Market at Dolphin Beach from 8:30am to 1:30pm on April 24.
